Coach Joe’s Coogee Beach Latin Social Dance

Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue at Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia.

6pm - 10pm

We’ll be dancing on the concrete by the sand at the south end of the beach.

There’s plenty of seating, beautiful views, ocean swims, changing rooms and water bubblers. There’s also lots of great food and drink, picnic areas, street parking and easy public transport nearby. Children and dogs on leash are welcome.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Please bring shoes to our beach events. You can’t dance there in bare feet, thongs, or slides. The concrete and sand is surprisingly smooth and nice to dance on, but you need proper protection for your feet.

If you tend to get cold please bring some extra layers. Once the sun goes down the temperature can drop fast.

Please don’t leave anything. Respect the venue and don’t leave any trash. If you leave any belongings we won’t collect them for you at the end of the night.

COURTESY AND RESPECT

All dancers will treat each other with courtesy and respect. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and dealt with immediately. 

If you feel unsafe during the event, please inform me and we will deal with the issue.

I may shoot videos throughout the event and post them to my socials during the following weeks. I also have a Whatsapp channel where I post everything I shoot.
